Quick guide

The NSDI Geoportal serves as a starting point for accessing spatial data sources that are, according to the NSDI Act (Official Gazette 56/13, 52/18, 50/20), part of National Spatial Data Infrastructure. Pursuant to Article 11 of this Act, the NSDI Geoportal is established, maintained and developed by the National Contact Point for the purpose of metadata management and provision of the services of spatial data viewing, download, transformation and retrieval, as well as other information related to National Spatial Data Infrastructure.

NSDI Geoportal provides the services of metadata collecting, discovery and viewing, including a simplified version of the metadata download service (where possible). By using the NSDI Geoportal, metadata can be edited and maintained, spatial data sources searched, analyzed and viewed, information found on the terms of their use, and data can be downloaded for use.
